In March 2011 he started his performance work showcasing the installation “Fabgreen” in the ARTBLOCK Festival, in the Casco Antiguo Historic Center of Panama City. In March 2011 he started his performance work showcasing the installation “Fabgreen” in the ARTBLOCK Festival, in the Casco Antiguo Historic Center of Panama City. He then participated in the same Festival in the June 2011 edition, performing “Alter Magnifique” which started to get recognition by the press and the much larger audience. In February 2012 he was selected as one of the artists to perform in the opening of an art venue/hotel, Tántalo, where he presented “Defuse Magnifique”, a continuation of his previous piece.
He participated with an installation titled “Naturiedad” in the Festival Abierto (April 2012) in Panama City. In May 2012 he created a pop cultural commentary type of installation titled “Contempop”, for vOrtice, which is one of the biggest alternative culture events in his hometown.
He was selected to participate in the Miami Performance International Festival (July 2012) where he showcased “Extendam”, in the Miami Design District. Later that year, he started exploring the interactions between artist and installation to then take it to the audience, creating two pieces titled “Do it for Me / Hazlo por Mí” and “Enjoy and I Will (Pretend to) Care”.
In November 2012 he was selected for the Word of Warning’s Emergency 2012 Performance Festival in Manchester, UK, where he presented “Double-Up: Life is a Fantasy by Nature and We Must Create Our Own Reality, Before We Lose Our Identity Believing What We’re Programmed to Believe”, a video-performance in mute format.
