[Тэкст даступны толькі на англійскай мове] As an authorized instructor by Epic Games, and relying on Sei Iturriaga Sauco's decennial experience in the field of communication and creative couching, Alessio Alonne is pleased to open the doors of his creative process with Unreal Engine to interested parties. Born as an editor for creating video games and real-time animation, Unreal is showing itself as an increasingly flexible system in various fields. With the arrival of Unreal 5 many things have changed both in terms of audio management as well as command inputs and their customization.
This allows, with extreme ease and an easy to understand workflow, to create interactive musical contents with an ease never seen before. The Unreal Engine metasound system has all the potential to compete directly with monsters of digital music such as MaxMPS and Supercollider, adding however a huge visual component that allows you to combine sounds with particle systems and real interactive game mechanics.
The teacher will bring as an example a collaboration made with the two Italian musical artists Uochi Toki and of course the work currently selected to participate as an AV performance in LPM 2023 MÜNSTER: "The way of Lore", in collaboration with Sei Iturriaga Sauco. Precisely within this, the creative director of the project will share part of her aesthetic-sound research with many references to the new neuroscientific and acustemological disciplines, with a posthuman point of view.
