While an artist in residence at Art Awareness in 1998 (Center for Contemporary Art) she met composer/sound designer Wayne Frost and her passion for the moving image and sound gave way to experimenting with real-time digital video manipulation and vocal experimentation.Over the last 10 years she has worked as a graphic designer, a video jockey for various musicians and digital film-maker/live performer with Cartesian Lover. Elizabeth Tesla has a degree in the visual arts from Carnegie Mellon and a Masters in Art theory from Paris 8 University. She was born in New York to a Croatian father and a Bolivian mother and lives in Normandy, France.
