Barbara Martinini (http://www.barbaramartinini.com/) was trained as a professional dancer at the Folkwang Hochschule in Essen (Germany) directed by Pina Bausch. In the 1994 she became part of the Bremer Tanztheater (Bremen) under the artistic direction of Susanne Linke, dancing as a soloist in numerous international tournees. She has created various performances as a choreographer from 1989 to date, amongst which “Morgacqua” created for the Venice Biennale commissioned by Carolyn Carlson and won the critics “Danza&Danza” prize. From 1988 she has held courses for dancers, from 2001 for actors and from 2008 she has been active as a non-verbal communication teacher and coach.
